2023 Dryer Vent/Fireplace Chimney Inspection Reminder

The Fire Safety Resolution was passed at the Annual Open Meeting in December 2010, filed in February 2011 and delivered to all unit owners in March 2011 mandates that every three years, dryer vents and fireplace chimneys must be inspected and cleaned if necessary. The last inspection was due the year 2020 but because of Covid-19 restrictions a delay was granted by the Board..
Please submit documentation to the office that you have had your dryer vent and fireplace chimney inspected.  The deadline of 12/1/2023.  This is a matter of safety for all residents, not only those in your Unit, but also in the entire Building.  If you should have any questions, please contact the office at 973-377-3634.

2023 REMINDERS
 
RECYCLE RESPONSIBLY
Avoid turning your recyclables into litter on a windy day. Use a lid to prevent the wind from blowing material out. If your material does not fit into one container, use more than one so that loose  material is not sticking out.  Flatten corrugated cardboard boxes and stack them into one un-flattened box.  Do not leave loose boxes on the ground. Newspapers should be tied or placed in large brown bags.  Shredded paper may be placed in plastic bags.  STYROFOAM MUST BE DISPOSED OF IN THE REGULAR GARBAGE PICKUP.  DO NOT PUT STYROFOAM OUT FOR RECYCLING AS IT WILL NOT BE PICKED UP.
 
USE PROPERLY SIZED CONTAINERS
The weight limit for a single container is 50 pounds when full.   It is recommended that containers be no larger than 32 gallons each to avoid exceeding the weight limit. 
Please place your container of glass, plastic and aluminum, etc. outside of your unit near the garage doors in the courtyard.
Please place your newspapers, boxes, etc. at the curb outside of the courtyard.

PAVING PROJECT – SCHEDULE UPDATE 5/4/2023
To: Residents of Belantrae Greens Condominium Association

Re: Pavement Improvement Project – Paving Schedule as of 5/4/23
As you may be aware, the milling and base repairs are complete. The contractor is currently performing site 
preparation for the rest of this week (May 1 to May 5).
THE CONTRACTOR WILL BEGIN PAVING ON MONDAY, MAY 8, 2023.
PLEASE BE AWARE THE COLOR-CODED SECTIONS HAVE CHANGED FROM PREVIOUS NOTICES!!!
Please refer to the attached color-coded map, which shows dates and locations for roadway paving. Each 
section will be FULLY CLOSED from 7:00AM to approx. 5:00PM on the dates listed below (weather permitting).
PLEASE REMOVE ALL VEHICLES FROM COLOR-CODED SECTIONS AND ADJACENT COURTYARDS 
BEFORE 7:00 AM ON THE DATES THEY ARE SCHEDULED TO BE PAVED. PLEASE BE ALERT FOR 
ADDITIONAL NOTICES AND WEATHER DELAYS. IF PAVING IS CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER, THAT 
SECTION WILL BE PUSHED BACK TO THE NEXT SUITABLE WORKDAY.
Please be aware that no work is being done within the courtyards during paving; however, the section of road 
in front of the courtyard will be closed (trapping vehicles in for the day). You may leave your vehicle in your 
garage only if you do not need it on the day when your road section is closed.
PAVING SCHEDULE AS OF 5/4/23 – PLEASE REFER TO NEW MAP (ATTACHED)
Each Section will be closed from 7:00am to 5:00pm, including the adjacent courtyards (listed below).
Day 1 – 5/8/23* Purple Courts: G, H, I, J, K, L, N, W, X, Y
Day 2 – 5/9/23* Yellow Courts: A, B, C, D, E, F, T, U, V
Day 3 – 5/10/23* Orange Courts: R, S & Main Gate
Day 4 – 5/11/23* Pink Courts: O, P, Q
Day 5 – 5/12/23* Green Court M, Office, & Temporary Access Gate
*NOTE: THESE DATES ARE WEATHER PERMITTING. IF WORK SHOULD BE CANCELED ON ANY DAY DUE 
TO WEATHER, THAT DAY’S WORK WILL BE PUSHED BACK TO THE NEXT SUITABLE WORKDAY.
ROAD CLOSURES:
Each roadway section will be closed from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM on the dates listed above (weather permitting). PLEASE 
REMOVE YOUR VEHICLES FROM THE ROAD SECTION AND ADJACENT COURTYARDS BEFORE 7:00AM ON THE 
DATES LISTED AND PLEASE BE ALERT FOR ADDITIONAL NOTICES. Please be aware that once the contractor begins 
to pave, you will not be able to leave your courtyard from 7:00am to 5:00pm. Please note that all emergency vehicles will 
be allowed through any construction zone at any time if needed.
PARKING:
When a section is closed for paving, you may park in any other section that is not scheduled for paving for the day. If you 
park on the main loop road, please park on the inner side of the main loop ONLY. Please DO NOT park on the 
outer side of the main loop. Also, please do NOT PARK within 50 feet of the limits of work for the closed section. 
You can park in other areas of the community or remain in your garage if you do not plan to leave for the day. Please be 
alert and look for additional notices posted throughout the project on resident doors, email blast and/or the community’s 
website, (www.belantraegreens.com).
CRACK FILLING, SEALCOATING, & LINE STRIPING:
This work will be completed during the week of May 15 (after final paving, weather and conditions permitting). Additional 
notices will be posted when the schedule has been determined.
THIS IS A CONSTRUCTION PROJECT. HAZARDS AND INCONVENIENCES WILL EXIST!! Please use caution driving 
around the community and/or walking to and from your home and vehicles. Please follow all road signs and 
instructions from crew members and please ask for assistance if necessary.
