NEWS BRIEF - JANUARY 11, 2013
Posted on Jan 11th, 2013
Wishing everyone a Healthy and Happy New Year!
A reminder that all outside Holiday decorations should have been removed by
Wednesday, January 9th, (15 days after Christmas).
We have received a number of complaints (and Board Members have personally observed) that speed violations of our “15 MPH speed limit” continue in too many instances. This speed limit was established on Belantrae’s Private Property in the interest of both pedestrian and vehicular safety. It is essential that all residents, visitors and contractors obey the 15 MPH speed limit.
Also, please remember to obey the “full stop” signs after the entry gates.
An important suggestion was made at our recent Annual Meeting to improve pedestrian safety. After dusk, when walking with or without our dogs – some type of reflective gear should be worn to improve visibility.
Again, a reminder that our Parking Resolution allows parking in the courtyards for only 5 to 10 minutes to load or unload a vehicle or discharge or board a disabled or elderly individual. Continued violations will result in one additional warning followed by unit owner fines. Also, parking in any courtyard will preclude snow removal and/or salting in that courtyard because of the likelihood that some damage to the illegally parked vehicle could occur. Also, garage doors should be closed-especially during the snow removal/salting season.
